Project Approach

The identified research gaps; projects that focus on capacity development for vulnerability reduction (options to reduce vulnerability of general population and high risk groups including women) and/or adaptation (options for adapting including better preparedness, awareness, empowerment and livelihood options) in the priority areas; policy-oriented activities; and outreach, education and networking activities related to climate change adaptation are to be precisely packaged into researchable and implementable activities. Potential research and implementing partners will be selected through Expression of Interest (EOI) based on established criteria and requested to develop full proposals. Engaged partners in the BNRCC project will receive support based on milestones to execute their various research activities.
